If you've visited our social media pages recently, you may have noticed things have been a little quieter than usual.
The truth is... we're still here.
We're still spending our evenings chasing golden sunsets, photographing beautiful families, and capturing all those little moments that make childhood so special. Whether it's tiny hands reaching for Mum, Dad throwing the kids into the air, or siblings running barefoot along the shoreline, we're still doing what we love most.
We just haven't been sharing as much of it online.
Life Looks a Little Different These Days
As photographers, we're passionate about preserving memories for other families, but behind the camera, we're parents too.
With two young children of our own, life has become beautifully full.
Like many families, we're making a conscious effort to spend less time on our phones and computers and more time being present with the people who matter most.
Ironically, the people who spend their lives capturing memories have realised how important it is to put the camera down every now and then and simply live them.
Family Photography Is Personal
Something else we've noticed over the past year is that more and more families are choosing to keep their photographs private.
And honestly, we completely understand.
Family photographs aren't just beautiful images, they're deeply personal memories. They're the quiet cuddle before bedtime, the way your toddler still reaches for your hand, the look your partner gives you when nobody else is watching.
These moments belong to your family.
While we're incredibly grateful every time someone allows us to share their gallery, we also respect the decision of those who prefer to keep those memories just for themselves.
